This is a basic 2-stage multi that takes you to an interesting historic site owned by Polkton Township. Permission was granted by the property manager based on past positive experiences with Geocachers. While it will be available year 'round, it is not very 'snow friendly' due to an unplowed parking area and possibility of the final location being covered.
The listed coordinates will lead you to stage one where there is a small parking area with a picnic table and just enough room to turn around. Look carefully for the entrance that is a grassy driveway. Excercise caution pulling into and out of this drive, traffic can be heavy and fast at times. Please don't park on the private road to the east.
Take some time to look around the building and grounds and read the story on the information kiosk. Stage one is a physical container designed to blend in with its surroundings. It is NOT in or attached to any of the electrical fixtures, conduit, or boxes nearby so please leave those alone. Nothing needs to be forced, pried, or disassembled other than picking up and opening the 'container' itself. Nothing is screwed or nailed in place per the terms of permission. Please follow a straight line as much as possible since the property is very narrow in that direction. Stage two is also a physical container hidden in the usual manner that can hold a log book, writing tools, and has plenty of room for trade items or trackables.
