About SideTracked Caches

The original station was officially opened on 1 June 1839 by the London and Croydon Railway and became fully operational on 5 June 1839. It was intended to become the main freight depot and locomotive workshop for the company.
The station has had an interesting history. During the times of steam it was a major depot then had extensive carriage sidings. Sadly it was later reduced to little more than a minimal station to serve the inner rail London traffic. For many years it had a single platform devoted to use as a terminus for the infrequent trains of the lightly used East London Line of the London Underground. The East London Line closed on 22 December 2007 and reopened on 27 April 2010 as part of the new London Overground. It is also on the Brighton Main Line. It is now a busy and bustling station.
Stealth is definitely needed here. The difficulty rating is due to the cache being hidden in a very public area.
