Detta är en alfabetstrail som inspirerats av Hylands hörnas ABC-bok. För er som inte kommer ihåg så var Hylands hörna ett klassiskt underhållningsprogram i Sveriges Television mellan åren 1962 och 1983 med Lennart Hyland som programvärd. Säsongen 1966 producerade Hylands hörna en modern ABC-bok efter en idé av Gunnar Wersén- Hylands hörnas ABC-bok. TV-tittarna uppmanades att sända in förslag på ABC-verser och tiotusentals bidrag kom in. Boken såldes i över en halv miljon exemplar och behållningen gick till leprasjuka barn över hela världen.
Denna trail är lämplig att ta till fots eller med cykel eftersom man då lättast kommer åt cacherna. Rundan är ca 1,5 mil lång (inklusive W som egentligen inte tillhör rundan eftersom W inte var en "egen" bokstav i det svenska alfabetet 1966 och finns alltså inte med i boken). Mellan cacherna Ä och Ö finns det ett vägval att göra om man cyklar. Man kan fortsätta ta blekingeledens gångstig i 700 m men då får man leda cykeln ca 200 m (här finns dock inga stängsel att ta sig över) eller så kan man cykla tillbaka till asfaltvägen, ta vänster och cykla upp till Annebergskrysset för att där svänga vänster.
Till rundan hör också en bonuscache: "Bonus ABC". Fr.o.m. cachen "P-Plats" finns det i vissa burkar en bokstav som när alla har hittats bildar ett ord. Detta ord ger koordinaterna. Lycka till och ha en Trevlig tur!!
This is an alphabet trail inspired by Hylands hörnas ABC book. For those of you who do not know, Hylands hörna was a classic entertainment program on Swedish Television between the years 1962 and 1983 with Lennart Hyland as host. In the 1966 season, Hylands hörna produced a modern ABC book based on an idea from Gunnar Wersén - Hylands hörnas ABC bok. TV viewers were asked to submit suggestions for ABC verses and tens of thousands of entries were received. The book sold over half a million copies and the proceeds went to children with leprosy all over the world.
This trail is suitable to take on foot or by bike because it is then easiest to access the caches. The round is about 15 km long (including W which doesn`t really belong to the trail though W wasn´t a part of the swedish alphabet in 1966 and is therefore also not in the book). Between the caches Ä and Ö there is a choice of route to make if you cycle. You can continue to take the Blekingeden footpath for 700 m but then you have to lead the bike about 200 m (here there are no fences to cross) or you can cycle back to the asphalt road, take a left and cycle up to Annebergskrysset to turn left .
The trail also includes a bonus cache: "Bonus ABC". Fr.o.m. cache "P-Place" there is in some jars a letter which when all has been found makes a word. This word gives the coordinates. Good luck and have a nice trip !!
