This one was placed in March 2021, my 5th Cache placed during a COVID-19 lockdown!
This cache is placed along the new cycleway that was put along the side of the busy 'Rugby' Road in winter 2020. I assume it was funded by new the new 'Hinckley Park' development along the A5 it seems to continue to there. I regulary cycle along that busy road during my 'daily excercise' cycle rides and it certaily makes it feel a lot safer... Unfortunately my access to it (from the Wolvey Road) is not particulary safe as it includes the A5/M69 roundabout and having to pull to the right of the road as it leaves the roundabout in order to cross at the trafic lights.
I'd originally thought about placing the cache on one of the new cycleway signs but found these were a bit too high.
I placed it near to a layby, You MUST park here if you're doing a 'park and grab' (do NOT stop on the road!) .
On weekdays there always seems to be a catering vendor at the layby (because of this I avoided the too near the layby itself) hopefully it will be safe in it's current location but please use stealf if needed.
NB: I averaged the coordinates from my GPS and from my phone and both were simular but if you make different ones then please post them in your log.
Also I think it would be dificult in a wheelchair but please post in your log if you find it from a wheelchair!
