Kaslo River is a fairy tale of a trail, winding along the burbling river and mossy banks. The main loop arcs over the river on two covered bridges painted an enchanting shade of magenta. The sculptures, titled ‘Hide and Seek’ features a series of installations along the Trail, eight in all. Full figures, or just heads, and sometimes a mix of both can be found peeking out from rock faces, hidden behind boulders or stationed right along the trail.
There are multiple places to park and access the trail, we parked at the end of 5th Street and walked a loop around both bridges of about 3.2 km.
Cache container is a pop bottle blank tucked under a large rock. Bring your own pencil/pen. There is a spoiler pic. A geocacher can log a physical cache online as “found” if they have signed the logbook.
