We have been exploring local places to walk along the urban Wolf River with our caching bestie, GeoCassi, and have enjoyed another new section of the Wolf River Greenway past Walnut Grove. This trail is currently being extended to connect to the Greenline and will include a big new bridge being installed across the Wolf River. Thanks to the Wolf River Conservancy and the cities of Memphis, Collierville, and Germantown for the willingness to devote significant resources to preserve and enjoy the Wolf River. The Conservancy is spending $60 Million to extend the Greenway the entire length of the Wolf River through Collierville, Germantown, and Memphis to make a 36-mile corridor. Can't wait to see this monumental project completed!
We originally acessed this at Wolf River Greenway Shady Grove Trailhead (waypoint indicated) but also found you can access another trailhead at the Wolf River Greenway East Two (waypoint indicated).
