A set of 4 caches (The Traditional, The Multi, The Puzzle and The Wherigo) which we are making available to all members, placed to help and encourage those who are new to our wonderful hobby. Unfortunately only The Traditional is available to basic members but if you are a basic member why not try a month’s free premium membership to see if its for you!
This is a Reverse Wherigo cache, please read all the following information before heading out to try and find it. The basic idea is to find the final while being given only your distance to it.
First you need an app that can play Wherigo cartridges
iPhone Wherigo®
Android WhereYouGo
Some GPS’s also have the capability.
Once you have that, to find the cache you will need to download the Wherigo cartridge
DOWNLOAD THE CARTRIDGE FROM HERE
http://www.wherigo.com/cartridge/details.aspx?CGUID=dcdcd2ff-c171-4487-93bc-678f6d03ac4f

There is no container at the listed co-ordinates but here you need to look for information to complete the three six-digit numbers below in order to activate the cartridge.
85A313
53180B
6648C0
A = The top number on the SV immediately below the postbox
B = the bottom number minus the top number
C = The bottom number
When you have entered the correct numbers take a look in your inventory.
All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the cartridge are provided in the cartridge itself, which is multilingual -the first thing you will be asked is your choice of language, which you will then need to input e.g. EN Then you need to Test GPS signal. After that you can ask the reverse geocache box to see how far it is to the final location, but it won’t tell you the direction - you will have to work that out for yourself! There's no limit to how many times you can ask, but try to keep your number of guesses as low as possible.
When you get within a few feet of the cache the final coordinates will be shown in the inventory.
The cache is a short distance away, but which way? Note that it is not possible to drive to the final location.
The cache container is a camouflaged small clip lock box - you will find the log sheet in the 35mm film can inside it. There are also one or two swaps.
Please keep an eye out for muggles.
Have fun!
The cartridge for the Wherigo version was developed by Waldmeister and has been re-used in many different caches.
If you want to create your own Reverse Wherigo, you can do so using the passcode you receive at the end of the game. The passcode is unique to you and can't be shared with other cachers. Simply choose "create" rather than "play" when starting the Reverse Wherigo and enter your passcode at that point. You will need to be at the final location for your hide, with a good signal on your device. The cartridge will then give you the exact coordinates (which you'll need when creating the geocache online) and the three six-digit sequences that identify that location in the cartridge. Write these down, hide your container and create your very own Reverse Wherigo! Just be sure to notify -Waldmeister- as a courtesy (no advance permission needed).
