Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates will bring you to an information board along The Granite Trail.  There you will learn about The Bogie Line, which was a funicular railway built to carry dressed granite from Millstone Mountain to King Street and the boats at the North Quay.  Many buildings and monuments, in Ireland and beyond, have been constructed from Mourne Granite.

Find the answers to the following two questions and then calculate the final coordinates.

  1. The original Bogie Line was built by John Lynn in the year ABCD
  2. Which famous hotel in London was built from Mourne Granite?  E= the number of letters iin the name of the hotel.

The final cache can be found at:

N54 11.(B-A)ED  W005 53.C(C+D)E

Check Sum:  A + B + C + D + E = 24

On street parking is available nearby.  Please remember to bring a pen and tweezers.
