During quarantine I got back into solving Sudokus, and found that there are tons of variants, and a lot of very smart people making very smart puzzles. This series serves as an introduction to several popular variants. Each puzzle is of medium difficulty, and beautifully uses the extra rules to make a fun puzzle. There is always a logical path to the solution of each puzzle.
This is a Thermo Sudoku by Nityant Agarwal. The digits along each thermometer must increase starting from the bulb. It can be helpful to notate the possibilities of each space along the thermo starting from the bulb to reveal restrictions. I also tend to highlight low digits (1-4) vs high digits (5-9).
