This is a lovely track to wander along !
It can get busy on summer weekends when folk are visiting the waterholes with their kids or their dogs in tow !
Take care when pullng in to park...or if you prefer ; park on the other side . Crossing the road can be tricky as it is a busy through road and some vehicles rush down at speed .
There are many possible places to put geocaches....But I have chosen an easy one .
No need to leave the track . Right Hand side of track if you have come from Candia Rd .
Base of a very straight tree.... Down a hole under the tree ....It is a recycled plastic camoed marmite jar .
Enjoy your peaceful walk in the trees and the Opanuku Stream you can hear ....
Take a dip if you want !
Co ords may vary a bit under the trees....
Please be watchful and don't remove cache if people are walking past...don't want it going missing !
