The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce is planning a GeoTour and is searching for creative cache makers, hiders and owners to volunteer for 1 to 5 (or more) caches that will be hidden in pre-designated areas within Aransas County, pre-approved by land owners/managers. We will have a list of the areas available and will leave the final cache designs up to the cache maker/owner. Chamber and landowner/managers will request photos of each cache and specific hiding locatons for final approval and to submit to maintenance crews so the caches aren't accidentally removed or destroyed.
Event will be held outdoors (for social distancing) at a picnic table in Memorial Park, located at 1601 FM 2165 (Pearl St), Rockport, TX 78382 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Depending on how many show up, we may be able to move over to the nearby pavilion, if it's available. If anyone wants to, we can even take a driving tour to see the proposed areas and still wrap up before noon.
