The main paths in Beecraigs are good, broad paths. However, some of the lesser-used paths can be very muddy at times. Please wear appropriate footwear as this wander takes you to some of the smaller pathways.
We have taken a minimum of three average readings on three different devices but please bear in mind accuracy can vary due to tree cover. Additionally mobile phone signal can be poor so if you use a smartphone for geocaching, it is advisable to save the caches offline. Public WiFi can be found in the Visitor Centre along with a cafe and public toilets.
More information about the park and car park opening times can be found here on the website.
Many thanks to the Ranger Service for permission to place this geocache and for their support of our hobby.
The Cache: We loved this tree when we were walking a few months ago and felt it was a great place for a cache. How many trunks can you count? We couldn't put the cache at the tree as that is too close to a bike trail and we didn't want any accidents. Your treasure is on the opposite side of the main path but is not in or near the wall. Additionally, stealth will be needed as this can be a very busy path.
