This area is a new trail formed from a reclaimed mining waste area on the out skirts of South Fork, which is known for being in the the path of the great 1889 Johnstown Flood. The plan is for this trail to connect the South Fork Dam area to the Path of the Flood Trail that continues to Johnstown on the other side of South Fork. Coming from the Ragers Hill Road parking area, the trail has several up and down areas to traverse. You will be looking for a small, camoflaged pill bottle hanging in the usual place just a short way off the trail. Area is open to hunting, so wear your orange. This is approximately 0.6 miles from parking.
We want to thank the owners of the land bordering the trail for permission to place this cache.
