Lupinus, commonly known as lupin or lupine (in Hebrew: Turmus), is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family Fabaceae. The genus includes over 199 species.
This cache will bring you to a less-known gem in Jerusalem called "Givat HaTurmusim" (גבעת התורמוסים). It's a small hill that is filled with Lupines that bloom in vivid shades of puple during spring-time. It's a great place to take the family for a picnic.
I'm marking the cache as wheel-chair accesable since it is possible to reach GZ from the west, through flat unpaved paths. However, most people will probably prefer taking the short-cut path from the south (see waymark), which is inclined and requires going over a large step, and is therefore not wheel-chair accesable. Either way it's an easy grab-and-go, though I highly recommend you take your time and enjoy the view and the flowers.
