V Hitrem sprehodu po Trebnjem (GC972DF) ste lahko videli nekaj znamenitosti, ki se nahajajo v bližini centra. Ta sprehod vas bo vodil ob glavni cesti od enega konca do skoraj drugega konca Trebnjega. Lahko si boste ogledali še kakšno znamenitost in zanimivo zgradbo. Žal, pa vsega ne boste mogli videti, saj je lahko kakšna stvar predaleč ali pa je ravno pod obnovo. Tokratni sprehod bo daljši, zato si zanj vzemite dovolj časa. Pa začnimo.
In the Quick walk around Trebnje (GC972DF) you could see some sights located near the center. This walk will take you along the main road from one end to almost the other end of Trebnje. You will be able to see another landmark and an interesting building. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to see everything, as some things may be too far away or just under restoration. This time the walk will be longer, so take enough time for it. Let's start.
Če se pripeljete iz smeri Štefana pri Trebnjem v Trebnje, vas kaj kmalu pozdravi tabla, ki označuje 15. poldnevnik. To bo vaša prva postaja.
If you drive from the direction of Štefan near Trebnje to Trebnje, you will soon be greeted by a sign indicating the 15th meridian. This will be your first stop.
Malo naprej boste na svoji desni zagledali najpomembnejšo zgradbo v mestu (zraven zdravstvenega doma) – gasilsko postajo (tukaj bo vaša druga postaja).
A little further on, you will see on your right the most important building in the city (next to the medical center) - the fire station (here will be your second station).
Slabih 100 m dalje boste prispeli do hiše, v kateri je živela mati Rudolfa Maistra. Nekaj podatkov boste poiskali na spominski plošči, enega pa ob cesti, na katero gledajo častitljiva vrata.
Less than 100 m further you will arrive at the house where Rudolf Maister's mother lived. You will get some information on the memorial plaque and some along the road facing the venerable door.
Po dobrih 100 m nadaljevanja boste pred cvetličarno opazili (ali pa tudi ne) kamen. Kamen nima nobene oznake, a je prav poseben – to je rimski miljni kamen, ki so ga Rimljani postavljali na vsakih cca. 1479 m in je kazal oddaljenost od Rima. Žal, je kamen neoznačen in navadnemu popotniku ne pove kaj dosti. (45 54.453 15 00.283).
After continuing for a good 100 m, you will notice (or not) a stone in front of the flower shop. The stone has no markings, but it is very special - it is a Roman milestone, which the Romans placed approx. every 1479 m and showed the distance from Rome. Unfortunately, the stone is unmarked and tells nothing to the average traveler (45 54,453 15 00,283).
Pred kamnom se vzpenja cesta levo navkreber in vas pripelje natančno do pokopališča, na katerem stoji spomenik padlim v drugi svetovni vojni (45 54.587 15 00.278). Ker je ta spomenik izven vaše poti, ga samo omenjam, da si ga lahko ogledate, če boste imeli dovolj časa.
In front of the stone, the road climbs uphill to the left and leads you exactly to the cemetery, where a monument to the fallen in the Second World War stands (45 54,587 15 00,278). Since this monument is out of your way, I just mentioned it so you can see it if you have enough time.
Malo naprej od miljnika vas čakata četrta in peta postaja. Predvsem okolica pete postaje je zelo zanimiva, saj okolica cerkve ponuja kar nekaj zanimivih kipov, spominskih plošč na cerkvi … Splača se jo obkrožiti – ne bo vam žal.

Če zavijete na 45 54.404 15 00.360, boste malo naprej od tega mesta videli Trebanjski grad – na žalost je obsojen na propad, saj ga zob časa neustavljivo gloda. Pred njim pa še vedno lahko vidite znamenitega trebanjskega leva, ki čuva prihod v samo mesto. In da prišepnem – na tem mestu, kjer ste sedaj, in pri gradu sta skrita še dva zaklada (če jih slučajno že niste našli - GC4RC3J, GC4RC43).
If you turn onto 45 54.404 15 00.360, you will see Trebanj Castle in the distance - unfortunately it is doomed because the tooth of time of time gnaws at it relentlessly. In front of it, however, you can still see the famous Trebnje lion guarding its arrival in the town itself. And let me whisper - there are two more treasures hidden in this place and near the castle (if you haven't found them alerady by chance - GC4RC3J, GC4RC43).
Ko nadaljujete sprehod od cerkve naprej, pridete do parka, kjer vas čaka naslednja postaja. Hkrati si lahko ogledate tudi spomenik, ki krasi park. Malo naprej boste na svoji desni zagledali pošto, na njej pa spominsko ploščo znanega slovenskega literarnega ustvarjalca Pavla Golie. Spominska plošča je na hiši, v kateri se je Golia rodil.
As you continue your walk from the church onwards, you arrive at a park where the next stop is waiting for you. You can also see the monument that adorns the park. A little further on, you will see a post office on your right, with a memorial plaque of the famous Slovenian literary creator Pavle Golia. A memorial plaque is on the house where Golia was born.
Če greste mimo zdravstvenega doma (tam si lahko mimogrede ogledate tudi spominsko ploščo v spomin na sejo CK KPS), pridete do Knjižnice Pavla Golie. Nad njo pa je park, v katerem si lahko ogledate še tri skulpture.
If you walk past the health center (you can also see a memorial plaque there in memory of the CPSU Central Committee meeting), you will reach the Pavle Golia Library. A little bit higher is a park where you can see three more sculptures.
Ko nadaljujete naprej od pošte, lahko na desni vidite trebanjsko železniško postajo, ob kateri stoji čisto prava lokomotiva – velika in dolga zverina – pssst, še en zaklad se tam skriva (GC9725A).
As you continue on from the post office, you can see on the right the railway station Trebnje, next to which stands a real locomotive - a large and long beast - pssst, another treasure is hidden there (GC9725A).
Malo naprej boste lahko videli spominsko ploščo, ki je postavljena v spomin Francetu Tomšiču (žal ravnokar tam popravljajo fasado, zato bo mogoče slabše vidna). Tomšič je bil jezikoslovec in leksikograf (45 54.471 15 00.505).

Ves čas se sprehajate po centru Trebnjega, ki leži več ali manj ob glavni cesti. Ko pridete do prvega rondoja, vas čakajo v bližini še zadnje tri naloge. Ko boste vse opravili, izračunali koordinate in pobrali zaklad, pa lahko nadaljujete do konca Trebnjega in si ogledate še krožišče in kip Desetega brata, ki ga krasi.
You are constantly walking around the center of Trebnje, which lies more or less along the main road. When you get to the first roundabout, the last three tasks are waiting for you nearby. When you have done everything, calculated the cordinates and picked up the treasure, you can continue to the end of Trebnje and see the roundabout and the statue of the Tenth Brother, that adorns it.
Kar precej stran (45 54.615 15 01.214) je tudi spominsko obeležje v počastitev poguma tistih, ki so imeli v času osamosvojitvene vojne za Slovenijo doma tajna skladišča orožja.
Quite a distance away (45 54,615 15 01,214) is also a memorial plaque in honor of the courage of those who had secret weapons depots for Slovenia at home during the war of independence.
