This Hide is dedicated to my deceased Wife & Caching Partner, Kris. We were together for over 40 years. She was the Driving Force for us, as a team of 2kaseBiers, that found 10,025 caches in our Time caching together, since Feb. 2, 2010. Over the years many of our friends & acquaintances would spell her name “Chris”. To minimize this occurrence of the other spelling of her name she would help by saying “It’s KRIS with a “K””. So, that became this Cache Name. We found caches in 49 states, District of Columbia, in Mexico & 6 Canadian Providences and 4 European, (Greece, Italy, France, Vatican City), and 2 Asian (Turkey) Countries. We never got a Find Hawaii; it was in the plan the year of her passing. We filled in the 366 Day Chart.
From 2005, we lived for 7 years Full Time in our 36 ft. Diesel power Motor Coach. The ranges of our Americas travels was from Homer, Alaska (2,794 Highway Miles from This Cache Location) to Key West, Florida (3,308 miles), from Bar Harbor, Maine (3,255 miles) to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (2,010 miles). Health issues took us of the Road in 2011, with us always planning on settling in Central Oregon.
Thank you Kris for being the Driving Force that kept us finding new caches & seeing many new places that we otherwise would not have visited. The cache total will continue to slowly increase, as I will find a Cache in her Honor on either our Wedding Anniversary in May, or her Birthday in August or on the day of her passing in November.
