Geocache Description:

The King Edward Overpass completes the historic link between Maillardville and Fraser Mills.  This multi will take you on a short walk from Fraser Mills to Maillardville.

Start at the posted coordinates and collect the clues as you walk over the bridge.  On the walk, you will find two interpretive signs for you to read, learn a bit about the area, and provide you with some of the clues.  In the middle of the bridge is a bench for you to rest your weary bones and to sit and enjoy the roar of the endless parade of traffic and trains passing below you.  OK, you may not want to hang out there too long!

The final is at N49° 14.ABC' W122° 51.DEF'
where:
Fraser Mills side:
A = Fourth digit in the "Mill side" photo.
B = Third digit in the year mentioned in the second paragraph.

Middle of bridge:
C = Number of bolts holding the bench down divided by two.
D = There are 12 columns of slots cut in the bench.  How many slots are cut in each column?  Use the second digit of this two digit number.

Maillardville side:
E = Third digit of the address of the house on Brunette Ave.
F = The number of men standing beside the fire truck who were part of the Volunteer Fire Brigade.
