This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.

Mount Barker Baptist church.
Foundation stone 31 Mar 1874 by John Darling, architect Daniel Garlick, opened 18 Oct 1874 as Congregational Baptist, later Baptist, new schoolroom opened 12 Jul 1891, final service 27 Jul 1986, sold when new church built. The building has been Pulpit Cellars for over 30 years offering wines and spirits.
The building is constructed of the best white stone of the neighbourhood, being from Dunn's quarry. There are cement dressings to the windows, quoins, and pediment. The footings of the walls up to the plinth are of hard dark stone. The edifice is surmounted by a neat belfry.
