Geocache Description:

Many residents of Athens remember this train station well. Between 1888 and 1952, the Brockville to Westport train pulled into this station daily.

This mural replaces a previous one, also of the train and station, that was here on the same wall. This new one was painted by artists Filipinas and Keith Heine, as a tribute to Keith's father Herb. It is now a panelled mural - less susceptible to weather, less costly, and more easily repaired.

The cache itself is not here. You can solve for the final coordinates by finding the following information on the painting in front of you.

A = Number of horses plus 2. (Do not neglect the black one.)

B = How many birds are flying near the windmill, plus 1?

C = Number of barrels in the wagon minus 2.

X = Train number departing Soperton at 4:46pm.

Y = The number of cars behind the coal car.

Z = The train number that departs Forthton at 4:48pm minus the train number departing Athens at 11am.

The cache can be found a short drive away at N 44 36 . ABC    W 75 56 . XYZ
