CRGT - Burg Lockenhaus
Eine echte Ritterburg
Die imposante Burg Lockenhaus weist noch als einzige Burg Österreichs das Bild einer echten Ritterburg auf. Bei einer Burgbesichtigung kann man die Ausstellungen und historischen Räumlichkeiten (Rittersaal, Folterkammer, Kultraum, etc.) erkunden oder mittels Führung die Geschichte der Burg und aller ihrer früheren Bewohner erfahren: von den Tempelrittern, über die schaurige Blutgräfin, bis hin zu den Fledermäusen.
Das geschichtsträchtge Ambiente, ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel in der Burg, informative und erlebnisreiche Burgführnungen, zahlreiche kulturelle Events und die Burgtaverne mit ihrer herzhaften Kulinarik machen die Burg Lockenhaus zu einer einzigartigen Ausflugs-, Event-, Seminar-, und Ferienlocation im Herzen des sonnigen Burgenlands.
Die Burg wurde um das Jahr 1200 über dem Tal der Güns erbaut und trug anfangs den Namen Leuca. Ab dem Jahre 1270 gehörte sie den Grafen von Güssing und zwischen dem 14. und 17. Jahrhundert wechselte sie oft ihre Besitzer. Das Ehepaar Margaret und Paul Anton Keller erwarb die Burg im Jahre 1968 in ruinösem Zustand. Sie verkauften ihren gesamten Besitz und investierten in die Erhaltung der Burg Lockenhaus, eines einmaligen europäischen Kulturdenkmales. Seit 1980 verwaltet ein Kuratorium der Prof. Paul Anton Keller-Stifftung die imposante Ritterburg.

A real knight's castle
Imposing Lockenhaus Castle is still the only castle in Austria with the image of a real knight's castle. During a visit to the castle, you can explore the exhibitions and historical rooms (knights' hall, torture chamber, cult room, etc.) or take a guided tour covering the history of the castle and all of its past inhabitants from the Knights Templar to the scary Bloody Countess, not to mention its present inhabitants, Europe's largest colony of Geoffroy's bats that makes its home in the attic.
The historic atmosphere, a tastefully furnished castle hotel, informative and exciting guided tours, numerous cultural events and the castle tavern with its tasty culinary offers make Lockenhaus Castle a unique location for an excursion, an event, a seminar, or a holiday in the heart of sunny Burgenland.
The castle was built around the year 1200 high above the Guens Valley. At that time it was named Leuca. From the year 1270 it belonged to the Counts of Güssing and between the 14th and 17th centuries, ownership often changed hands. Margaret and Paul Anton Keller acquired the castle in ruinous condition in 1968. They sold their entire property and invested everything they had in the preservation of Lockenhaus Castle, a unique European cultural monument. Since 1980, the board of trustees of the "Prof. Paul Anton Keller-Foundation" manages this imposing knight's castle.

CRGT - Viteški grad Lockenhaus
Pravi viteški grad
Mogočni grad Lockenhaus še kot edini grad v Avstriji kaže podobo pravega viteškega gradu. Pri ogledu gradu lahko raziskujete razstave in zgodovinske prostore (viteška dvorana, mučilnica, kultni prostor idr.) ali pa skozi vodenje spoznate zgodovino gradu in vseh njegovih prejšnjih prebivalcev: od templjarjev, grozljive krvave grofice pa vse do netopirjev.
Zgodovinski ambient, okusno opremljen grajski hotel, informativna vodenja po gradu, polna doživetij, številni kulturni dogodki in grajska taverna s svojo srčno kulinariko spremenijo grad v središču sončnega Gradiščanskega v edinstveno izletniško, prireditveno, konferenčno in dopustniško lokacijo.
Grad je bil zgrajen okrog leta 1200 nad dolino reke Güns in se je prvotno imenoval Leuca. Od leta 1270 je pripadal grofom Güssing, med 14. in 17. stoletjem pa je velikokrat zamenjal svoje lastnike. Zakonski par Margaret in Paul Anton Keller je leta 1968 kupil grad v propadajočem stanju. Prodala sta celotno premoženje in ga vložila v ohranitev gradu Lockenhaus, ki je edinstven evropski kulturni spomenik. Od leta 1980 grad upravlja viteški upravni odbor fundacije prof. Paula Antona Kellerja.
