CRGT - Grad Negova
Grad se je domnevno razvil iz lesenega strelskega dvorca že v 11. oz. 12. stoletju. Z imenom Vest Egaw se v ohranjenih pisnih virih omenja leta 1425, in sicer v lasti avstrijskih plemičev Windnow. Do konca 2. svetovne vojne sta grajsko zgodovino pisali še dve avstrijski plemiški rodbini: od 1433 Perneggi in do 1543 Trauttmansdorffi. V letu 1487 so grad za kratkih 5 let zavzeli Madžari pod poveljstvom kralja Matije Korvina. Turki so ga neuspešno oblegali v letu 1605. Po 2. svetovni vojni je bil grad izropan, v njem pa urejena socialna stanovanja za številne negovske družine, ki so grajske stavbe zaradi njihove dotrajanosti in neustreznih higienskih razmer morale zapustiti leta 1993. Novi grad in pristava z obzidjem sta bila obnovljena leta 2006. Od 2012 je grad odprt za obiskovalce. Na lokaciji se razvija kulturni turizem. Grad ima v celoti ohranjeno obrambno infrastrukturo in je izvrsten primer razvoja novodobne grajske arhitekture. Grajski kompleks sestoji iz stare utrdbe, novega gradu in predgradja z obzidjem ter notranjim dvoriščem. Združuje številne arhitekturne stile od romanike, gotike, renesanse in baroka. V grajski kapelici so ohranjeni ostanki baročnih protestanstkih zidnih poslikav.
V gradu Negova se vsako sezono odvijajo številne prireditve, ki nagovarjajo raznolike obiskovalcev. Med tradicionalne prireditve sodijo Zeliščarski dan, Festival ljubezni, Penina fejst, Srednjeveški grajski tabor, Stare otroške igre, Grajska trgatev, glasbeni nastopi, predstave in delavnice. Pod gradom se nahaja bogat zeliščni vrt. V grajski pristavi je urejen Turistično informacijski center z butično ponudbo lokalnih dobrot in spominkov.

Grad Negova je za obiskovalce odprt od začetka aprila do konca oktobra, od četrteka do nedelje med 10.00 in 17.00 uro; za vnaprej napovedane skupine nad 15 oseb pa po dogovoru tudi izven rednega časa.

CTGT - Schloss Negova
Das Schloss entwickelte sich vermutlich aus einem hölzernen Schützenhof der schon im 11. bzw. 12. Jahrhundert auf diesem Hügel stand. Unter dem Namen Vest Egaw wird die Festung urkundlich erstmals im Jahr 1425 erwähnt, damals im Besitz des steirischen Adeligen Hans von Winden. Bis zum Anfang des 2. Weltkrieges wurde die Geschichte des Schlosses durch zwei weitere österreichische Adelsfamilien geprägt: ab 1431 durch die Familie Perneck und ab 1543 die Familie Trauttmansdorff. Das Schloss wurde im Jahre 1478 durch den ungarischen König Mathias Corvinus belagert, eingenommen und blieb kurze Zeit in ungarischem Besitz. 1605 belagerten die Türken das Schloss, konnten es jedoch nicht einnehmen. Das neue Schloss stammt aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und wurde im italienischen Baustil zu repräsentativen Zwecken des Grafen Maximilian Trauttmansdorff ausgebaut. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wurde das Schloss ausgeplündert und Räumlichkeiten wurden bis 1993 als Sozialwohnungen benutzt. Das neue Schloss und das Landgut mit Schutzmauer wurden 2006 runderneuert. Seit 2012 ist das Schloss für Besucher offen. Vor Ort entwickelt sich der Kulturtourismus stark. Die umfangreiche Schlossanlage Negova gilt als ein ausgezeichnetes Beispiel für die Entwicklung der neuzeitlichen Schlossarchitektur. Die Anlage besteht aus drei Gebäuden: der alten Burg, dem Neuen Schloss und der Vorburg mit Schutzmauer und Innenhof. Hier verschmelzen verschiedene Baustile: von Romantik, Gotik, der Renaissance bis zum Barock. In der Schlosskapelle sind Reste barocker protestantischer Fresken erhalten.
In Schloss Negova finden zu jeder Jahreszeit verschiedene Veranstaltungen statt, die alle Sinne der Besucher ansprechen. Zu den traditionellen Veranstaltungen zählen der Kräutererkundungstag, das Liebesfest, das Champagnerfest, das mittelalterliche Schlosslager, Spiele für Kinder, Musikdarbietungen, Performances und Workshops. Unter dem Schloss befindet sich ein üppiger Kräutergarten. Der Schlossladen verfügt über ein Touristeninformationszentrum mit einem breiten Angebot an lokalen Köstlichkeiten und Souvenirs.

CRGT - Negova Castle
The castle presumably developed from a wooden structure in the 11/12th century. It was already mentioned under the name Vest Egaw in written sources from 1425, when it was owned by the Windnows. Until the end of the World War II, the castle's history was closely associated with two other Austrian noble families: from 1433 the Perneggi and then from 1543, the Trauttmansdorffs. In 1487 the castle was captured by Hungarian troops under the command of King Mathius Corvinus, who then occupied it for the next half-decade. In 1605 the Turks unsuccessfully besieged the castle. In the 17th century, a new palace was built in Italien style for representative purposes by Count Maximillian of Trauttmansdorff. Despite the expenditure, the Trauttmannsdorff family did not actually reside in the castle, except for short periods sometimes during the summer. After World War II, the castle was plundered. Its rooms were subsequently used for public housing, but because of inadequate hygienic standards, this use was abandoned in 1993. Beginning in 2006, the new palace and the rest of the fortification with its defensive wall were extensively renovated. In 2012 it was opened to the public. Since then, cultural tourism has developed significantly. The castle has a fully preserved defensive infrastructure and is also an excellent example of the development of palace architecture in the early modern period. The castle complex consists of the old castle, the new palace, and an outer bailey with a wall and inner courtyard. What results is an amalgem of architectural styles, from Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance to Baroque. Remnants of Baroque Protestant frescos are preserved in the castle chapel.
Negova Castle is home to various events throughout the seasons that appeal to all the senses. Traditional events include the Herbalism Day, the Love Festival, the Champagne Festival, the Medieval Castle Camp, children's games, music, performances and workshops. Below the castle is a lush herb garden. The castle shop has a tourist information center with a wide range of local delicacies and souvenirs.

Negova Castle is open to visitors from the beginning of April to the end of October on Thursday to Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. For groups of 15 people or more with a reservation, we also open outside the regular opening hours.
