CRGT - Grad Murska Sobota

Soboški grad se kot Bel Mura prvič omenja leta 1255. Leta 1365 je prešel v last rodbine Széchy, ki je v 16. stoletju dala zgraditi sedanji renesančni dvorec s štirimi vogalnimi stolpi, vmesnimi trakti, ki obkrožajo notranje dvorišče, in vhodom na severnem traktu. S sedanjim imenom se kot castellum Mwrayzombath v virih prvič omenja leta 1478. Renesančni gradbeni elementi so ohranjeni v kamnitih okenskih okvirjih in kamnitem loku severnega portala. Leta 1687 ga je kupil Peter Szapáry, od njegovih dedičev pa leta 1934 tedanja Občina Murska Sobota. Sedanja podoba je rezultat prezidav v 18. stoletju. Baročni stavbni elementi so na fasadi severnega trakta, dvoriščnih arkadah, kapeli in v iluzionistični maniri poslikanem salonu v notranjščini. Baročni portal z Atlanti in balustradnim balkonom na vzhodnem pročelju je bil prizidan konec 19. stoletja. V baročni čas sega 9 hektarjev grajskega parka, ki je danes mestni park. V duhu angleških parkov je bil načrtno zasajen v 18. stoletju.

Pomurski muzej Murska Sobota ponuja na ogled stalno razstavo o življenju ljudi ob Muri od naselitve do danes, raznolike občasne razstave in izbor iz muzejskih zbirk. Muzejsko ponudbo dopolnjujejo delavnice in druge vsebine za otroke in odrasle ter muzejska trgovina z izbranimi izdelki. Poleg muzeja so obiskovalcem mesta na voljo Mladinski informativni in kulturni klub (MIKK) s kavarno in galerijo.

Grajski park

Krožna sprehajalna in učna pot -  Soboška zelena pout ter umetno jezero v čudovitem parku sta priljubljeno mesto za mlajše in starejše. Od pomladi do jeseni se na grajskem dvorišču, ploščadi pred gradom ali zelenicah v parku, vrsti veliko dogodkov za domačine in turiste.

CRGT - Schloss Murska Sobota

Schloss Murska Sobota wurde 1255 erstmals als Bel Mura erwähnt. Seit 1365 war es Eigentum der Familie Széchy, die im 16. Jahrhundert ein Renaissanceschloss mit vier Ecktürmen und Zwischentrakten, die über einen Innenhof und Eingang auf der Nordseite verfügten, bauten. Mit seinem heutigen Namen wurde es erstmals 1478 als castellum Mwrayzombath in Quellen erwähnt. Bauelemente aus der Renaissance sind in den steinernen Fensterrahmen und im Portalbogen der Nordseite erhalten. Im Jahr 1687 ging das Schloss in den Besitz von Peter Szapáry über. Die damalige Gemeinde Murska Sobota kaufte es schließlich 1934 von seinen Nachkommen. Die barocken Elemente stammen aus dem 18. Jahrhundert und sind an der Nordfassade, im Arkadenhof, in der Kapelle und im Großen Salon, der mit Bemalungen in illusionistischer Manier dekoriert ist, zu finden. Das östliche Portal mit Atlanten und dem Balustrade-Balkon wurde Ende des 19. Jahrhundert eingebaut. Aus der Barockzeit stammt auch der neun Hektar große Schlosspark – der heutige Stadtpark, der im 18. Jahrhundert als englischer Garten bepflanzt wurde.

Im Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota sind eine Dauerausstellung über das Leben der Menschen an der Mur – von der ersten Siedlung bis heute, verschiedene thematische Ausstellungen und eine Auswahl aus den Museumssammlungen zur Besichtigung. Das Museumsangebot wird mit Workshops und verschiedenen Programmen für Kinder und Erwachsene ergänzt. Es steht auch ein Museumshop mit erlesenen Produkten zur Verfügung. Neben dem Museum stehen den Besuchern der Kultur- und Jugendclub (MIKK) samt Café und Galerie zur Verfügung.

Schlosspark

Der Spazier- und Lernweg (Soboška zelena pout) sowie der künstlich angelegte Teich im prachtvoll angelegten Schlosspark sind beliebter Treffpunkt für Jung und Alt. Doch auch im Schlosshof, auf dem Platz vor dem Schloss und den angeschlossenen Grünflächen genießen Einwohner wie touristische Gäste von Frühling bis Herbst ihre Zeit.

CRGT - Murska Sobota Castle

Murska Sobota Castle was first mentioned in 1255 as Bel Mura. From 1365 until the seventeenth century,  it has belonged to the Széchy family, who in the 16^th century buit a Renaissance chateau with four corner towers and side wings, and a courtyard and entrance on the north side. Thr first document to refer to it as castellum Mwrayzombath dates to 1478. Renaissance elements are preserved in the stone window frames and portal arch on the north side. In 1687 the castle became the property of Peter Szapáry. The municipality of Murska Sobota eventurally bought it from his descendants in 1934. Baroque elements date back to the 18^th century and can be found on the north façade, in the arcade courtyard, in the chapel and in the Grand Salon, which is decorated in illusionistic style. The eastern portal with atlants and the balustrade balcony was built at the end of the 19^th century. The nine-hectare castle park - today's city park - dates back to the Baroque period and was laid out as an English garden in the 18^th century.

The exhibits in the Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota include a permanent exhibition about the life of the people of the Mur - from the first settlement down to the present, various thematic exhibitions and a selection from the museum's collection. The museum offer is supplemented by workshops and various programs for children and adults. There is also a museum shop offers exquisite products for sale. In addition to the museum, visitors can visit the Cultural and Youth Club (MIKK) with its café and gallery.
