Number 1289 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.
The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.
Welcome to March Baldon, one of several settlements which have ‘Baldon’ somewhere in their name - but this is the only one which qualifies for a cache in the “Fine Pair” cache series!
As in many small villages the phone box no longer functions as it was originally intended
To find the cache you will first need to gather information from both of the items in this “Fine Pair”
Look inside the taller of the Pair to discover
A = on the keypad, find the number that is above X
B = on the keypad, find the number that is above Z
C = the round yellow cabinet is numbered 93C1
Now for the shorter one, read all the information on the white notice on the front and determine
D = the time of the collection in Berinsfield D.00pm, divided by 2
E = the number of times the box is emptied in a standard week
F = A later collection is available in Oxford at F.15pm
The cache is located a short walk away at N51 41.ABC W001 11 DEF
The cache is a small magnetic tube
