Lions Park Traditional Cache

This cache is located in a local park called Lions Park. It’s an easy 500 ft trail walk from the parking area. The trail is rocky so watch your step.

Lions Park is an old park created by the Goshen Lions Club back in the 1950’s. It’s not well maintained and it has gotten smaller over the years. You will see that housing developments are right up to the borders now. All the old hand built stone bar-b-q pits are in disrepair and the old bathroom is a shambles.
A white road sign on a telephone pole identifies this park.
Pull in and park. The trail is to the back of the parking area and NO bushwhacking is required.
Now the problem is that this is sort of a black hole for GPS reception with the rock, tree cover, and near by hills. I got a reading of about 20 feet from the hiding location when I was right on top if it. The cache is completely hidden, I know it’s a cheep trick with such bad GPS reception but the lower part of the park is well used and I don’t want the cache compromised.
The cache is hidden in a standard 30 cal. ammo can.
The free-bee clue is think trees, because everyone knows I hate rocks!
