The challenge is simple Find a cache each day of Astronomical Winter, defined here as December 21st to March 19th. The year does not matter.
While I completed the premise of the challenge some time ago this is the first time that I've completed it in one go, having found a cache every day this winter. This challenge is a bit more open ended in that any year will do as long as you've found a cache between December 21 and March 19, aka winter.
Having surived my first winter streak I stand in awe of folks like Celing99 who've done this a couple winters in a row. My hat is off to you sir!
The cache is nothing particularly fancy. One of those you've been here before kinda things. While it is technically a park and grab please park at the coordinates and walk up to the spot, there is no direct parking at the cache. The difficulty rating applies to the process, not the actual cache. The container is a largish small with room for some stuff.
Some clarifications: 1) Neither the streak nor the year matter. So technically you could find one day a winter for 91 years and (eventually) qualify for this cache as long as each winter day was different. 2) Yes! Leap year counts! (Thanks 82Hammfam) in light of that I've nudged the difficulty up a touch.
