The "Cousins" have been telling us about a pirate's chest filled with gold and precious gems, hidden deep within the "Dam Hills of Ill Repute".
They claim that they found the above map in a bottle somewhere near Mermaid's Cove. Probably just something a drunken sailor dropped on his way home but you are welcome to see if you can make any sense of it and find the (not so) burried treasure.
Remember to print off the map and let the "wee scallywags" follow it - they will probably be able to make sense of it.
Just in case here are the written directions.
The posted coordinates will start your journey at the "TUNNEL OF DOOM" - turn your back on it (if you dare) and you will see an old road towards the East - follow the road past "MERMAID'S COVE" (don't be mistaken it for a marsh) - until you come to the "THREE PILLARS" - (note these pillars are only about two feet high and bar your way to the railroad tracks). You will need to follow the "Steep and Narrow" trail (totally exagerated) until you come to the "TABLE WHERE PIRATE'S WOULD DRINK GROG AND EAT THEIR GRUB". Within a Fanthom or two (6 - 12 Feet) you will come to the "CROWSNEST" - be sure to take time to enjoy the views of the South Slocan Dam and the Kootenay Canal Generating Station. From there you will need to follow the trail until you come to a Power Pole (there is a small satelite dish nearby). From there if you have good vision you will see a "SAWED OFF POLE" and another tall pole to the South East - the cache is between you and the two poles hidden in a rocky cove.
You can use your geo-senses but since there are quite a few places to search we are going to share a little more information from the cousins.
There are Numbers on the Power Pole (the one by the satelite dish) - you will need them to solve the following equation:

You are looking for a regular lock n' lock. Of course there is an X to mark the location but you will have to be near it to see it.
