Note: The listed coordinates are NOT the coordinates of the cache!!
This cache is part of a Team Adventure Cache, there is at least one of these caches in each of the Australian six States.
Two solutions are available for this adventure:
(1) To complete the “All States – Team Adventure” you may elect to travel to all six Australian states and locate at least one cache from the list below, although for most of us this may be a little too expensive!!
(2) What might be a more reasonable approach, contact a fellow geocacher (via " their profile ") in each of the six states of Australia near one of the caches listed below, and have him/her find the required “number” in the cache. Once all six numbers have been collected you can then ascertain the correct coordinates and then locate the “All States – Team Adventure” cache.
Please do NOT post cache “numbers” in your cache log.
No assistance can be sought from the person who placed the cache.
If you choose option (2) the cachers who assist you will become part of your team.
Geocaching rules says that only the team/person that finds and signs the log book can register a “found it”. The others may only write notes.
In each of the caches there is a card with a “number” on it and / or a number on the inside of the cache container. That number will form part of the Latitude and Longitude for the final “All States – Team Adventure” cache.
The caches which are available to be located are:
NSW – Team Adventure #1 GC98ARX, Team Adventure #2 GC98NVQ
QLD – Team Adventure #1 GC9ACD1, Team Adventure #3 GC984GZ
VIC – Team Adventure #1 GC98FHY, VIC - Team Adventure #3 GC9D7JE
TAS – Team Adventure #1 GC98KKD, Team Adventure #3 GC99879, Team Adventure #4 GC992Y2
SA – Team Adventure #1 GC98HKQ , Team Adventure #3 GC9D5A7, Team Adventure #4 GC9DG6G
WA – Team Adventure #1 GC9866M, WA – Team Adventure #2 GC9D6HR , Team Adventure #3 GC9D4A8, Team Adventure #4 GC9D5HF
Please remember, no assistance can be sought from the person who placed the cache.
Once at least one cache in all six states has been located and you have all six “numbers” then the “All States – Team Adventure” can be solved and located at:
S 33 40. ”NSW”, ”QLD”, “VIC”
E 150 38. ”TAS”, ”SA, ”WA”
PLEASE cover the cache well when you are finished.
Please be aware that children may be involved in finding and logging this cache, therefore inappropriate logs will NOT be accepted and deleted.
The cache is located a safe distance from drop off, please take care when looking for the cache and keep close attention if young children are involved.
The difficulty level is a reflection of the effort you may require to ascertain the final coordinates.
The physical cache is not all that difficult to locate, the purpose of this cache is to foster closer relationships between geocachers throughout Australia.
Congratulations to Team Canary for FTF!!
