Calvin and Hobbs Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Marko Ramius: Since there does not appear to have been any further response to the issues posted to this cache, I am archiving the listing to remove it from search pages and to allow for new caches in this area. If you would like to correct the issues for this cache, you can either create a new cache page or send me an e-mail with the GCxxxx code for this cache listing and I will un-archive it and review it again.

Thank you for your understanding and for your contributions to Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a lock and key style cache. It is located near Sugarloaf State park along a commonly hiked trail. To find the coordinates, you must first find two travel bugs which have them attached. One called "Calvin" (TB2F64) and one called "Hobbs" (TB3158). Please do not leave either of these travel bugs in this cache as other seekers would not have the coordinates necessary.

This caches has been reverted to the original lock and key since both travel bugs have shown up.

This is our first cache, and I had a couple of spare travel bugs, so I thought I would put them all together.

You must first find two travel bugs that hopefully will stay in the area. Each travel bug (Calvin and Hobbs) will have part of the coordinates necessary for the cache to be located.

Please leave the travel bugs in Sonoma, Marin or Napa counties in family style caches of 2/2 or less difficulty as to maximize exposure.

The coordinates that are given here are of the parking lot and trail head. Please do not post coordinates here.

Original contects of the cache:

1 four pack of AA batteries for those GPS's that are running low;
1 Guatemalan Hackey Sack
1 Roll of Electrical Tape
1 Rolling Earth Ball
1 GeoCaching compass keychain
1 Turtle Beach Sound Board (PCI)
1 spring chain clip
1 Lego Man
2 Mini ceramic birds from Guatemala
1 Guatemalan Camera Strap
1 Travel Bug - Post Card Bug

Notebook and 2 pens

My friend Calvin and his clone have been permanently lost. Here is his secret: N 38 26.329

I don't know the whereabouts of Hobbs, and due to the recent DNF's, I will post his secret: W 122 31.240

I have also updated the coords to reflect the secrets...
