This cache is named after a giant's kettle (hiidenkirnu) in Lauttasaari. As the surrounding rocks tend to get very crowded in summer, the cache itself is placed out of direct sight.
A typically large and cylindrical pothole drilled in solid rock underlying a glacier either by water descend by gravel rotating in the bed of subglacial meltwater stream. (Source: Wikipedia).
