
Sibei Tongjin forms a path frequented by fashionable selfie-seekers and strollers and part of an area perfect for weekend urban exploring and wandering.
The church here is apparently the largest Christian Church in Guangzhou and was built in 1909. Though originally a Baptist Church, it was in 1960 merged into other churches in the nationwide 'church union' policy. It was also the first Christian church in Guangzhou to resume religious activities in 1979 after the cultural revolution.
