Welcome to our series of 10 geocaches, a 6km loop (2hour stroll) round our village, river and woods. Along the way you'll find out about the places you visit, how they relate to the environment we live in and hopefully have some fun (& some fresh air).
This geo finds you further along the river path, hopefully near a large bug hotel and information board about our local wild flower meadow. Did you spot some newly installed bat boxes along the way? (from voluntary group Open Country). Can you build a bug or bee hotel in your garden? Don't forget to leave a piece of your lawn unmown in May! here's some more examples.

This is optional; remember, each cache has a letter written in the container, once you've worked out what it spells, tell us what was the best bit of the series by visiting our blog here
Bee careful, don't forget to leave the cache hidden how you found it. Along the way, perhaps collect any litter you find, just to help keep our village tidy. Thank you. From Lucie (aged5)
