Love Birds

This cache is located in beautiful Forest Park. Cache is a regular sized container in a birdhouse. GZ is just off the trail that follows the stream. Parking available on Grand (at the time of posting, Jefferson is closed to vehicle traffic). Due to the location of this cache and how busy the area is, there is a combination lock on the front. The combination is 1904 (worlds fair year). Even with the lock please use stealth.

This is our first cache and there could be no better theme than Love Birds. Geocaching is something we started doing as a couple shortly after we got together, and has definitely given us many great memories as our love grows. Many of our dates have been in this beautiful park. We knew we wanted a birdhouse cache. So just like that, LOVE BIRDS was born. 

We encourage you to grab someone you love and experience all the park has to offer. Picnic on art hill. Paddle out on post dispatch lake. Stroll around the zoo. So many great ways to make memories with a loved one. Feel free to share your own memories at Forest Park in the log.

To open the birdhouse, just flip open the roof. The container inside is a lock-N-lock large enough for the log, pen, trade items, and plenty of trackables. Please be sure the birdhouse is closed securely before you leave. The trail to the cache is not paved and could be muddy after some rain. 

There is an FTF geocoin just waiting to be activated inside the container for the first to find.
