A fine sandstone viaduct of 4 arches, 55 feet high and 86 yards long carries the Settle to Carlisle main line over the Crowdundle Beck on its way between Langwathby and Appleby Stations. There are regular passenger and freight services over the line, and in the summer steam trains still power their way across.
