This is a really cool
building! It has been called Sedalia's "Castle on the Hill."
The state did a great job of placing the entrance to the
place, so that you get a chance to appreciate the view of the
lodge from the valley below.
There
are guided tours 7 days a week, year round. (See the website below
for hours and fees.) The building itself is worth the tour, but the
site chosen for it is spectacular!
