About the Series:

This series highlights, you guessed it, dog parks. I own a dog, and every cache in the series are near or in dog parks I've taken her to. In the description I give my rating for the dog park and talk about any individual pros and cons. They are simple yet fun hides that any cacher, whether premium or regular can find. Definitely bring Fido/Fida and maybe they will find the cache for you, who knows. My dog has pee'd on each one to give it a unique scent that your dog may be able to sniff out. *Ok, I didn't actually have my dog pee on each one. Other Aspects:

This dog park is a relatively new dog park, and while it may not be the biggest or most lavish, it is usually well populated. You can usually count on finding a dog or two here. We take the pup here if we feel like she needs to find a few friends to run around with instead of with us or her toys. When I came to place the cache, I made sure to come on the rainiest, most miserable day so as not to be spotted, and yet there was still someone there with their two dogs, so I just waited them out. On a nice day, this park is booming.

PROS: CONS:
There is a water fountain for the dogs and for people. Edit: I just tried the fountain today and it doesn't work, maybe you could get it to work, but don't rely on it.

Does not have any picnic tables.

It has a couple benches, for people to relax and watch their dogs. There are no trees of any substantiality (there are saplings bordering the fence) to get sticks to play fetch with your dogs or to provide any sort of shade. It is quite exposed.
There are large rocks for the dogs to jump on and run around. The base is made up of pebbles, which I know isn't that bad, but I personally am not a big fan of it since it slows down running dogs and always gets stuck in my shoes.

 

Cache Info:

If there are people there, you will either need to be a super ninja, wait them out, or come back another time since it's hard to log without being noticed. Use your jugement to be as stealthy as you need so it does not get muggled. You will need to bring a pen.

Fun Fact about this cache: I had hid this more than a month ago and it was going to be called GriffinTamer's Pooches Play Place before I even thought of the series. Original cache container didn't work out and here we are more than a month later making it the 4th in an already well established series.
