This cache is part of the Discover Central Point 2021 "The Drive for Five" 5th Anniversary Geocoin Challenge!
This geocache series, which consists of a mix of traditional caches and temporary caches, will lead cachers to sights in and around Central Point. Limited edition (150 available) Discover Central Point Geocoins will be awarded to those who complete the geocache series!
While exploring areas outside of town to best accommodate the current state of the game and world in general, we noticed a family walking a path we'd not seen before. We took a chance to turn the car and head towards the path only to learn that it comes from Flanagan Park. We wandered the path and spotted a great place to hide a cache for the challenge.
Geocaching is filled with acronyms, and this cache is one of them. While it's not the metallic variety that is more commonly found, it suits the letters and provided a home for the container. Make sure you bring your own writing utensil and please replace well for next finders.
