Ashøj - Tårnet

På toppen af Ashøj 94 m.o.h. er placeret et tårn med god udsigt over Thy. Fra toppen kan man på en klar dag se mere end 100 vindmøller.
Tårnet er ikke egnet for gangbesværede, da der er en relativ stejl trappe til toppen. Tæt på tårnet er der placerede nye bænkesæt, hvor man kan nye sin medbragte kaffe.
Der er planer om, at der skal bygges et nyt tårn nedenfor højen, som både bliver nemmere at komme op i og for at beskytte højen mod al den trafik, der i dag klatre op af skråningrne.
Ashøj Tower
At the top of Ashøj 94 m.o.h. is located a tower with good views of Thy. From the top you can see more than 100 wind turbines on a clear day.
The tower is not suitable for people with walking difficulties, as there is a relatively steep staircase to the top. Close to the tower, there are new bench sets where you can renew your brought coffee.
There are plans to build a new tower below the mound, which will be both easier to get up in and to protect the mound from all the traffic that today climbs up the slopes.
