Walking, like geocaching, is so important, because it really means freedom. Freedom from having to find parking spaces, paying for gas, and you get to notice things that you wouldn’t otherwise have seen.
Walking on my way to downtown Mount Kisco this sidewalk had offered me a glimpse into how other people lived, major life events, especially on recycling and garbage days. Example people with new born babies usually threw away huge boxes with universally recognized brands for diapers, boxed from baby seats....
My trip was easygoing, but having a flat stump like this along the route helps me sit down, take a breath, take in the scenery of community and everything that’s happening around me. I decided to make this stump into a geocache hide, because it has served as a comfortable 3/4 way to my previous home, from Downtown.
bring a pencil, the cache isn’t large enough to hold one.
