The Mrs and I purchased a bag of these plastic screwtop coin tubes for inserting log books to be placed in larger caches. We turned them over to my younger sister Kimmie, the family artist, to do with as she wished. This is the first hide with one of her masterpieces. Look for more of her amazing creations as we continue the series!
This newly developed trail follows along land that was once family farm and forest. It starts at the recommended street parking area and eventually ends with a great overlook of the valley. A terrific viewpoint used for years by neighbors gathering to watch the July fireworks display at Emerald Downs.
A TOTT may be helpful and BYOP. Open from the bottom. Please place the log back into the plastic tube and into cache container.
The cache is just a Hippity Hop off the trail (but NOT located at the viewpoint).
