Geocache Description:


Welcome to Pochuck State Forest.

Park in the lot and hike the logging road up the mountain. Cache is about 50 feet off the logging road. 

Hunting is allowed and this area is popular with hunters during NYS bear and deer season. (Rifle hunting is approximately Nov.21-Dec.13, give or take a few days) 

I placed this with 2 kids in elementary school and it takes us about an hour, round trip.
