DON'T FORGET TO NOTE THE DATA YOU'LL NEED TO GET COORDINATES FOR THE BONUS CACHE: GC99383 F&N - RANA ET SOPORATUS CIRCUMJECTUS NOVUS
Sorry to have to say this as most cachers do it but, if everyone were to do it, we wouldn't have to ask what should be so obvious: PLEASE PLEASE replace all containers BOTH WHERE and AS found.
Caches need to be concealed (NOT left in plain sight to spoil the game for the next cacher or for a muggle to spot and remove) and in the right location as originally chosen by the cache setter who may need to find it again to carry out maintenance.
Many thanks
This series, done in one visit will be a walk of about 5 km. There is some limited parking along the lane near the published co-ordinates of this cache..
Although the country lane you need to walk on to access this cache is a quiet one, please ensure young children are in hand and dogs are on leads for safety reasons.
The F&N series is a replacement for the FN series originally created for the occasion of International Geocaching Day 2018 . Unfortunately, the first 5 of that series were archived at the property owner's request and, although we could have merely created replacement caches for those, we thought "Why not replace all of the caches?" So we have placed a newish series that all cachers can do rather than just a handful.
Of necessity, this means that the first 5 caches are placed along the ascent of Wimland Hill and then Wimland Lane before moving onto footpaths some will find familiar to begin with later transitioning to a slightly different route.
You will be pleased to know that this multi is an easy one, not only in its puzzle element but also with regard to the hide.
At the given coordinates, you will be standing in front of a building. Facing the building, you will see two entrance doors, each with a wooden plaque on it.
Door to the Left:
- a = Number of Words
- b = Number of 'A's
- c = Number of 'O's
- d - Number of T's
Door to the Right:
- e = Number of Words
- f = Number of Letters
Work out the coordinates for the cache using the following formula:
N51 05.(b + c)(c x d)(a + d) W000 16.(b + f)(b - f)(a + d + e)
