Dobrodošli v slikoviti gorički vasici Pečarovci v občini Puconci, ki se razprostira na površini 8,11km2
tukaj živi 387 prebivalcev. Skozi vas teče Pečarovski potok, ki izvira v dolini čudežnega izvira »Zdrave
vode«. Ime je vas dobila po lončarjih – pečarjih, ki so tukaj zastopani skozi zgodovino in še tudi danes.
Vaščani Pečarovcev so aktivni v Turistično kulturno športnem društvu kjer je organizirana pevska
skupina ter ljubiteljska gledališka skupina Zgrebaši. Velik pomen v vasi ima prostovoljno gasilsko
društvo ter klub malega nogometa. Lončarstvo ter domači kulturni in športni dogodki k nam zvabijo
veliko obiskovalcev. V Pečarovcih sta dve cerkvi, pri »Sebeščanu« se nahaja rimo katoliška cerkev v
»Gorenščeku« evangeličanska cerkev. V preteklosti je bila vas znana po pridelavi in predelavi lanu
od takrat se je domačinov prijelo ime ZGREBAŠI –( v domačen jeziku se pravi lanenemu blagu
zgrebno platno). Ob vaško gasilskem domu je na ogled gasilski muzej, če pa se boste napotili do
cerkve Svetega Sebastjana pa boste proti zahodu imeli čudovit razgled daleč čez Prekmursko ravnico
vse do Pohorja in še naprej.
Welcome to the picturesque village of Pečarovci in the municipality of Puconci, which covers an area
of 8.11 km 2 . 387 inhabitants live here. A stream flows through the Pečarovci, which originates in the
valley of the miraculous spring »Zdrava voda«. The village was named after potters who are
represented here throughout history and even today. The villagers of Pečarovci are active in the
Tourist, Cultural, and Sports Association, where a choir is organized and an amateur theater group
called “Zgrebaši”. Voluntary firefighting and soccer club are of great importance in the village.
Pottery, domestic cultural, and sporting events attract many visitors. There are two churches in
Pečarovci near "Sebeščan". There is a Roman Catholic church in "Sebeščan" and Evangelical Church
in “Gorenšček”. In the past, the village was known for growing and processing flax. Since then, the
locals have adopted the name ZGREBAŠI - (in the local language the linen fabric is called “zgrebno
platno”). Next to the village fire station, there is a fire museum on display, but if you head to the
Church of St. Sebastian, you will have a beautiful view to the west, far across the Prekmurje plain all
the way to Pohorje and beyond.
