Time for a history lesson! Czar Nicholas and Czarina Alexandra were the last royalty of Old Russian. They were overthrown in the November, 1917 revolution and later executed with all 5 of their children.
For 3 decades prior to the Revolution Faberge eggs were made by Peter Carl Fabergé, the royal jeweler, and given at Easter as gifts, one egg per year until 1894 when Jeweler Peter produced 2 bedecked eggs each year.
43 of the original 50 known eggs survive. I think we have found the 44th! Could this one be worth $10 million like one of the previous egg's auction price? Perhaps!
Happy hunting! This isn't a quick p& g, and it is a bit of an uphill short walk, but I know you all can accomplish it! Look high and look low, well, mostly low as this fabulous Faberge egg is enclosed in a faux velveteen pouch!
Please be careful with it! Seriously. I just replaced another cache 3 weeks ago and someone reports the bison tube is AGAIN broken. Please!
