Geocache Description:


This is the start of a foot path that goes along the banks of the Mimico Creek.  In spring you can hear the call of the male American Toad as he looks for a mate.  

 

If you make your way down to the creek, at the right time of year, you can find strings of toad eggs, mating couples or tadpoles in the shallow pools.

 

This cache is a micro cache with a log inside.  Even if you aren't here during toad mating season, take some time to walk along these lovely hidden paths in Etobicoke.
