Enjoy a quiet walk over open moorland on one of the less visited parts of Bodmin Moor.
Greymare Rock is a large granite boulder sitting near the heart of East Moor.
You can walk here from some of the other caches located on this part of the Moor , Fox Tor or Carey Tor, using their listed parking spots. However, I've listed a parking spot at Halvanna Plantation. Just follow the track from the gate until you reach the listed waypoint for a stile and enter the open moor. It's a fairly straight 2km walk from car to cache.
The moorland is used for grazing cattle, sheep and ponies so please keep dogs under proper control. Ticks are present on the moor, you may wish to check yourself and your dog after a walk here!
You are looking for a 500ml plastic box hidden about 20m away from Greymare Rock.
