Wildflower Planting Lone Lake Park

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Meet at the lower parking lot. We will be planting wildflowers near the parking lot. Bring a pair of gloves and wear sturdy shoes since we may be working on hills. Some tools will be provided by the City of Minnetonka, bring a shovel with your name on it if you have one. All volunteers are required to sign a release form before participating (once a year). Janet Van Sloun will be our host. She is a very knowlegable employee of the City of Minnetonka and has done a great job in the past of educating the volunteers on various plants and weeds that we encounter. She strongly believes in making it an enjoyable time for the volunteers and she is always extremely appreciative of the time that we give to make the parks more beautiful. Please log early so she has a good idea of how many tools and snacks to bring.
