Kirkwood Lake Park today is a little visited county park hidden behind the Lindenwold Speedline Station. However, it has a fascinating history as outlined in the nearby Kirkwood Lake Cache revisited (which is a great cache you should go find).
This cache is located about 100 feet from the scant remains of the icehouse, which can still be seen today.

Cache is paddle to only! Cache available dawn to dusk. Please use posted parking coordinates off of Gibbsboro Road, which are near the only public boat launch area for the lake.
