Something that drives me crazy are "No Outlet" signs that are either located on streets that DO have an outlet or located in places that are OBVIOUSLY not routes to other locations. I picture an unfriendly neighbor or neighborhood association requesting a sign just to keep anyone else out. I figure I should place a cache by them to make sure that some friendly visitors will head to that location.
This cache is located between two streets off of Guilford Road (Blue Sea Drive and Carriage Hills Drive) that both have No Outlet signs. Considering that most residential streets in Columbia are not through streets and that neither of these streets is even next to a through street, I can't imagine why they need these signs. Are drivers routinely exiting Hammond High's parking lot and going down Blue Sea Drive hoping to find an on-ramp to MD-32? I doubt it!
