Part of Isesaki City is now also partly south of the Tone River.
There is also a prefectural border at the point where the cache was set up, and there are markers indicating each prefecture.

On the Gunma side of this prefectural border, there are two buildings registered as Tangible Cultural Properties in Japan: the Shimamura Church of Christ Church of Japan and the Megumi Nursery School Building on the Saitama side.
Christianity was brought to Shimamura by a silkworm breeder who visited Yokohama to export silkworm seeds in the early Meiji period. A church was built in 1887, but it became too small, so a new church was built here in 1897.
In 1950, the church was expanded and the exterior was changed, but the interior chapel is the same as when it was built.
The cache was placed at the border of the prefecture. (The cache is located in Saitama Prefecture.)

また、この県境の群馬県側には「日本キリスト教団島村教会」、埼玉県側には「めぐみ保育園舎」という二つの建物が国登録有形文化財としてあります。
明治初期に蚕種輸出のために横浜を訪れた蚕種業者によってキリスト教がこの島村の地にもたらされました。教会は、明治20年に教会が建てられましたが手狭になったため、明治30年にこの地に新しく建てられました。
昭和25年に増築されて外観は変わりましたが、内部の礼拝堂は建てられた当時の姿です。
