The main paths in Beecraigs are good, broad paths. However, some of the lesser-used paths can be very muddy at times. Please wear appropriate footwear as this wander takes you to some of the smaller pathways.
We have taken a minimum of three average readings on three different devices but please bear in mind accuracy can vary due to tree cover. Additionally mobile phone signal can be poor so if you use a smartphone for geocaching, it is advisable to save the caches offline. Public WiFi can be found in the Visitor Centre along with a cafe and public toilets.
More information about the park and car park opening times can be found here on the website.
Many thanks to the Ranger Service for permission to place this geocache and for their support of our hobby.
The Cache: Only a few yards off the main southerly path but it really does look like Jurassic Park with all the fallen trees. The cache can be found at one of the smaller fallen trees. There is a difficult route and a slightly less difficult route to this one.
